Depending on what you need it for you could call a private detective that could do the job or maybe even ask for some tips on how you could do it. You could even call a alarm/home security company and ask how much it would be to set your room up for servailance but you’ll need to know how long it records etc, find out all the details. If you check around you can find the best price.
It really does come down to how much you really want to do this and that will also help you decide just how much you are willing to spend.
Check the internet for info. if you have a computer in the room you want to see you could get a webcam and set it up or they have the baby serveilance now room monitors.
I saw a serveilance package in Walmart for around 300.00 I’m not sure of all the features but it was in the electronic department.
I always go in Radio Shack and usually they have good information. I purchased a hand held recorder and asked a bunch of questions and they usually have the answers!
